Against the Grain (ATG) is a Vermont based gluten and grain-free bread company. For 15 years, all products have been made in ATG’s dedicated commercial bakery in Brattleboro, Vermont. ATG’s products are gluten-free, grain-free, all natural, non-GMO, and made with simple ingredients everyone can understand. We offer consumers a range of products including 10 and 12-inch pizzas, baguettes, rolls, and bagels in a range of flavors.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are searching for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to help us achieve our sales goals, coordinate sales operations, and keep solid customer connections. This individual will work across different cross-functional departments and have direct engagement with both customers and distributors. This position will report to the Director of Sales, and is responsible for guaranteeing order fulfillment, collaborating with other departments, and boosting customers' satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Business Management support
  • Support business planning, pricing, budget development and control support, and administrative needs; Trade spend, trade tracking, accounting linkage, etc.
  • Trade Promotion Communication for internal
  • New customer set up forms.
  • Ordering pattern analysis and assistance with forecasting
  • Participation in customer meetings and compiling follow up notes.
  • Work as an extension of the sales team, engaging with customers via email and telephone. 
  • Create presentation material.
  • Help with billing discrepancies and accounting linkage.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent grad excited about the industry! Or 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • High attention to details with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in demandtec and 1worldsync is a plus (not required)
